The platform Powerside Basketball, in compliance with the legislation for the protection of personal data, fully respects the rights concerning your personal data. In this context, we inform you that we process your personal data in the following ways and for the following purposes.

What data do we collect from you?

  • When you register as a User: All the data that you provide us with in the Sign Up form
  • When you subscribe to our Newsletter: Your email address
  • When you contact us with questions and/or Comments: Email address, Any information you provide us via your message.

Who controls and processes your personal data?

●      The Data Controller for your data is “Powerside Basketball Ltd.”, with corporate seat at 201b.3, Cardinal Point, Park Road, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, England, WD3 1RE and UTR: 8411505419, legally established under the laws of United Kingdom (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”).
●      The Company's employees and partners process your data.
●      Data Processors:
1.     Zoho Corporation, which provides us with our emails
2.     Host Europe GmbH, which hosts our platform
3.     PayPal Holdings, Inc., through which transactions on the platform will be executed
 
●      Your data may also be shared with our external associates (i.e. accountants, lawyers, etc.) for Company purposes, as well as State authorities, if we are requested to do so, according to our legal obligations.
 
We ensure that all the above-mentioned parties are always bound by strict confidentiality clauses. 

Why do we process your personal data and on which basis?

  • To provide you with our Services, in accordance with the Platform Terms of Use, in order to perform the contract between us;
  • To send you a newsletter, if you have subscribed to it, giving us your consent
  • To receive any comments and questions and to respond to you following your contact, either to perform the contract between us - if any - or based on our legitimate interests in providing information to you.
  • To provide you with better content and ensure the security of the Platform, based on our legitimate interests, and as described in the Cookies Policy.

For how long do we retain your data?

  • If you register on the Platform, we will retain your data until you choose to delete your account.
  • If you delete your account, we will delete your data by the end of the next calendar year, subsequent to the deletion. We may retain some of your data (e.g. data relating to transactions) in accordance with our obligations under legislation (e.g. tax legislation) or to enable us to respond to any legal claims. This data will only be retained for the strictly necessary period of time in accordance with the applicable legislation.
  • If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will retain your email address until you withdraw your consent or request us to delete it.
  • If you send us any communication, we will keep this communication until you ask us to delete it.

NOTICE FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

This notice describes the rights of Californians under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”). The CCPA requires businesses like us that receive information from more than fifty thousand California consumers to provide certain information to them. 1. We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information

We do not sell personal information, so we do not have an opt out.
2.3 Your Right to Notification
Under the CCPA, a business like Powerside Basketball cannot collect new categories of personal information or use them for materially different purposes without first notifying you.
2.4 Nondiscrimination for Exercising Your CCPA Rights
The CCPA prohibits businesses from discriminating against you for exercising your rights under the law. Like all of our members, you can request that we delete your personal information by sending us an email at the email address basketball@powerside.io. We honor such requests unless an exception applies, such as when the information is necessary to complete the transaction or contract for which it was collected or when information is being used to detect, prevent, or investigate security incidents, comply with laws, identify and repair bugs, or ensure another consumer’s ability to exercise their free speech rights or other rights provided by law.
